NaBloPoMo

I'm attempting it again this year -- posting every day. There are some days where it may be a challenge to get this done. For instance I have a quick business trip next week. Thursday will be a long day & my flight isn't expected to land until after 11pm -- that is if I don't miss a tight connection and have to spend time at the Philadelphia airport. And I'm planning to spend a day meeting several other bloggers in NYC on the 15th. Committing to post daily means that I just committed to lugging my laptop to NY for the weekend. Blah....I miss the days when it was so easy to carryon all your luggage, but the TSA one bag requirement will work against me if I decide to bring my laptop.

Taking a cue from Charlotte and her pledge on Blog Action Day, I will make a charitable donation for every comment left on my blog during the month of November. I'll post later this month about which charities I have selected, but the cause will be related to efforts to eradicate hunger and water scarcity.

So, please read along with me this month and be sure to leave comments. If you are participating in NaBloPoMo, I look forward to reading your posts too!

Hi! I just found your blog through NaBloPoMo, and I love the idea of commenting for charity. I also enjoyed your post about All Saints Day. And, while I don't use my name in my blog, we have the same short first name. I wonder if we have the same full first name?

Good luck with your 30 in 30!

I have to say, I'm loving the fact that I'm getting much more "Cam" this month!

Welcome CDG. We might have the same longer name. Mine is French, is used for girls in the US but I'm named after my French grandfather. Add a vowel on the end and it's another, similar name & also a flower. Do we share the same name?
